Meet Jan and Paul Blackford, your hosts

       "After a lifetime of living in and travelling through many other parts of the world, including sixteen years in Papua New Guinea where Paul was a pilot and Jan an Art and ESOL teacher, we decided to make the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand our home. We love living in this private, peaceful and beautiful place where there is so much to see and do yet close to airports and cities as well.

         Wiremu, our black and white cat is the only member of our family still living at home

        We designed and built Katiki Lodge to share with others who we hope will go away refreshed because they have spent time here.   ."
